選んだのは、160番手の超極細糸。
タオルに使うには極めて繊細な、扱いの難しい糸です。
細くなるほど、肌に触れた時のなめらかさは増していく。
その一方で、織り上げることも、その風合いを保つことも容易ではありません。
それでも、私たちが追い求めたのは、
この糸だから生まれる特別な感触でした。
肌の上を静かに滑るような、きめ細かななめらかさ。
驚くほど繊細な軽やかさ。
それは、肌の感覚まで研ぎ澄ますような感触。
その静かな心地よさを、瀬戸内海の「凪」に重ねました。
風がやみ、水面が澄み渡る、穏やかな時間。
その情景を思い「凪白（なぎしろ）」と名づけました。

生産は愛媛県今治市の自社工場で。
糸の特性を見極めながら、ひとつひとつの工程を丁寧に積み重ね、
160番手ならではの風合いを引き出しました。

Nagishiro
For this towel, we chose an exceptionally fine 160-count cotton yarn — a yarn so delicate that it requires particular care in towel making.
The finer the yarn, the smoother it feels against the skin. Yet such fineness demands precision at every stage, from yarn selection and weave design to finishing, where preserving its distinctive texture requires great skill. At our own factory in Imabari, Ehime, each step is carefully controlled to bring out the unique character of this delicate yarn.

We named it “Nagishiro,” inspired by the calm of the Seto Inland Sea — that peaceful moment when the wind falls still and the surface of the water becomes clear and serene.
From the first touch in the morning to the comfort after bathing, Nagishiro brings a sense of refinement to daily rituals, transforming ordinary moments into something quietly exceptional.
